Council adopts its partial negotiating position on the European Competitiveness Fund in the framework of the next multi-annual budget (MFF) 2028-2034.

The Council today reached its partial general approach on an integral cornerstone of the next long-term EU budget – the ‘NRPP regulation’. 

The Council has agreed its position on a proposed directive that updates the rules on genetically modified micro-organisms (GMMs) and the processing of organs as part of the European Biotech Act I.
