Robert Fico (Smer) kormányfő elfogadja az alkotmánybíróság döntését, amellyel felfüggesztette a Büntetőeljárási törvény bűnügyi hatóságokkal együttműködő személyektől szerzett bizonyítékok felhasználhatatlanságára vonatkozó részének hatályát, vagyis az ún. bűnbánó gyanúsítottakra vonatkozó fejezetet.

Le Ministère des Enseignements Maternel et Primaire a démis de ses fonctions le directeur d'une école primaire publique à Savalou, dans le département des Collines.

Par une décision en date du 29 janvier 2026, le Ministère des Enseignements Maternel et Primaire a déchargé Narcisse Achikpa de ses fonctions de directeur de l'Ecole Primaire Publique (EPP) de N'Gbolandé à Savalou.

Il est reproché à l'enseignant une « absence irrégulière au poste ».

En attendant la nomination d'un successeur titulaire, l'intérim est assuré par le directeur de l'école voisine de Kitikpli, afin de garantir la continuité du service et la stabilité de l'établissement de N'Gbolandé.

Le mouvement GRoW26 - Grandir Ensemble a organisé vendredi 6 février 2026, une visite au profit d'une cinquantaine de producteurs de soja et d'anacarde du département des Collines, à la Zone industrielle de Glo-Djigbé (GDIZ). L'initiative vise à renforcer le dialogue entre ces producteurs et les transformateurs de la GDIZ.

Les producteurs de soja et d'anacarde du département des Collines s'engagent à accompagner la dynamique industrielle amorcée par le Bénin à travers la Zone industrielle de Glo-Djigbé, hub industriel en pleine expansion. A l'occasion d'une séance d'échanges organisée par le mouvement GRoW26 en leur intention avec les transformateurs de la GDIZ, ces producteurs ont pu découvrir les réalisations du gouvernement au sein de la zone économique spéciale et les investissements importants qui y sont réalisés.

La séance d'échanges animée par Faki ADJÉ, directeur général adjoint de la Société d'investissement et de promotion de l'industrie (SIPI-Bénin), structure en charge de l'exploitation et du développement de la GDIZ, leur a permis de comprendre l'importance de leur rôle dans la réussite des chaînes de valeur. Convaincus du rôle essentiel qu'ils devront jouer, ces producteurs se sont engagés à accompagner le gouvernement dans ses efforts de modernisation de l'économie nationale.
Cette activité du mouvement GRoW26 s'inscrit dans ses ambitions de promouvoir les actions du chef de l'Etat Patrice Talon et de son gouvernement.

One of the hallmarks of colonization was transplantation of the European nation-state to the colonies in line with colonialism’s consideration of sedentarism as indispensable to its ‘civilization’ by domination mission. The structuring of space and belonging around the Eurocentric notion of nationhood and statehood became the vehicle through which populations in the colonized parts of the world were reconfigured as insiders and outsiders as well as legal and illegal among other designations. This chapter addresses the Eurocentric configuration of space around the nation-state, its reproduction in the colony and post-colony and the implications for contemporary global mobility. Building on Michel Foucault’s (1986) heterotopic spaces and Freerk Boedeltje’s (2012) discussion of the structuring of space around the ‘normal’/‘deviant’ binary, the chapter argues that this dichotomous dissection of space inscribes varied texts on mobile bodies and creates hierarchies that bestow varied identities and differential mobility opportunities on people who inhabit different spaces. The Eurocentric structuring of space construes mobility as anomalous and straining the hyphen in nation-state through its disruption of the order created around sedentarism and spatial demarcation of belonging. The chapter highlights how the nation-state attaches belonging to space in ways that restrain mobility particularly by ‘othered’ bodies from ‘deviant’ spaces. It illustrates its main argument by discussing the tethering of belonging to space exemplified by physical and legal barriers buttressed by securitizing discourses that seek to deter presumably transgressive mobilities’ ‘encroachment’ into spaces where they are ostensibly anomalous.
